Haarlem

Haarlem Haarlem is located on the river Spaarne and is the capital of the North Holland province, it is the center of a district dedicated to flower growing and the export point for tulip bulbs. You will find here the Teylers Museum, the oldest public museum in the Netherlands that hosts a collection of fossils and the famous Haarlem specimen of Archaeopteryx, minerals, historical scientific instruments and works of art, and has everything exhibited in a 19th century manner. Also check The Patronaat, a large venue for live music, hosting dance nights on fridays and saturdays.
